OnePlus Nord CE 5G
The new OnePlus Nord CE that recently launched in India, and this is a phone that I’ve been using for almost a week now, as my daily driver and I was actually quite liking this phone but then the price came out of this phone, and I was like what happened with OnePlus They Overpriced for Nord CE.
The OnePlus Nord CE starts in India rupees 24,999 there is a 22,999 well but let’s not count that because that’s not coming anytime soon so, 25,000 it Is now at that price the biggest and I think the only USP of this phone is the OnePlus Oxygen OS experience.
First of all, it’s clear that oxygen OS is no longer as stock android but it’s still way better than the likes of Funtouch OS or MIUI, or Realme UI when it comes to the overall experience.
The OnePlus Nord CE 5G is the best mobile.

Display on Nord CE
This phone has a beautiful and bright display. It’s a 6.43’’ Super AMOLED screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate, which means the colors look very punchy in the Nord CE, and the Screen body ratio is quite good. the side and top bezels are thin and the bottom bezel is also smaller than average and that’s why this phone feels compact in hand.
Specification of Nord CE
The Nord CE comes with Snapdragon 750G, this is a 5G Processor 5G, and the phone comes with a 4500mAh battery. (In OnePlus Nord you will get a 4115 mAh battery) and with Oxygen OS you can easily expect one day’s battery life with moderate usage. You get a 30W fast charger that can charge 0-80% in 30 mins and that’s quite good.
SD 750G only has one 5G band and that’s the disappointing part of this phone. Nord CE has 3 variants that you can buy, and if we talk about pricing, and Storage type is UFS 2.1 and RAM is LPDDR 4X.
Here is Prices according it’s RAM and ROM –
- 6GB/128GB = 22,999 Rs
- 8GB/128GB = 24,999 Rs
- 12GB/256GB = 27,999 Rs
Software Experience on Nord CE
The Oxygen OS experience on the Nord CE is clean all around there are no weird permissions or ads or recommendations, since the OnePlus Nord CE has the cleanest Android experience in this price segment, and that’s definitely good.
Let’s look at the other side see along with great experience value for money is also very important I mean at 25,000 there are a few things you expect from every phone, and that’s where I feel OnePlus has made some cost-cutting.
OnePlus claims that it’ll get 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates so, that’s good. You get features like Zen Mode so you get the core experience of oxygen OS. Thair is also had Always-on Display.
Sensors on Nord CE
This phone gets all the sensors with an in-display fingerprint sensor that works fast, face unlock is also fast and reliable.
Camera on Nord CE
This phone has a triple camera setup 64MP is the primary camera (Nord has 48MP). If we talk about camera performance then, It has good colors and takes some detailed photos. There’s an 8MP ultrawide lens with 119-degree FOV + 2MP Mono lens.
On the front side, you will get a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor. As I said, photos have a good dynamic range. Ultrawide camera has softer image output but the overall camera is quite good. There’s no OIS on this phone but it can shoot 480 fps slow-motion videos, night mode is there that works well. You can record up to 4K 30 fps videos on this phone.
Performance on Nord CE
The performance is great with an AnTuTu score – 3.93 Lakhs (it’s mostly because we have a 12GB 256 GB variant) This is a really good score. You can play games like Call of Duty and PUBG (or BGMI) with very high graphic settings.
It also has a 90 Hz refresh rate display that makes the gaming experience much better. The combination of fluid AMOLED and fast refresh rate with Oxygen OS makes the overall experience smoother. The performance surprised me. If it had SD 768G it would’ve been better but 750G is not bad.
It has a very good screen so the video viewing experience is great but it doesn’t get stereo speakers but a 3.5 mm jack is there. If you do a lot of gaming, consume a lot of multimedia so a 3.5 mm jack is present. Overall multimedia experience is good even with a mono speaker which is loud.
This phone has one 5G band and that is n78 band, it also has dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi calling, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band Wi-Fi and it does support carrier aggregation.
OnePlus Nord CE supports Camera to API which means you can install the google camera app on this phone, and this phone also supports Wide vine L1 which means you can stream high-quality videos on Netflix and Amazon. Nord CE does not have a notification light & FM radio and it is not dust and water-resistant anymore.
The display and performance only these two things are good on this phone. So, if you want a OnePlus phone and your budget is around 20,000-25,000 Rs then definitely you can look at the OnePlus Nord CE 5G.
The OnePlus already has a very powerful weapon in the form of oxygen os, which is important because the biggest issue with mid-range smartphones in India is the software experience so clearly OnePlus has a huge opportunity in this mid-range segment in India.
It’s important that they focus on bringing phones that have the perfect balance when it comes to features software experience and price I mean I just hope the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 has this perfect balance anyway I want to know your opinion on the OnePlus Nord CE and its pricing so tell your thoughts in the comment section below.
